Elementary Student Program
"SCIENCE is cool" programs for kids that includes two presentations of 30 minutes each. The presentations must be consecutive with time to transfer materials if necessary. The program presented to each group is designed to entertain, excite, and encourage children so that they will want to know more about SCIENCE. The objective of the program is to leave every child with the idea that SCIENCE is FUN! This objective is accomplished by a program that is dramatic, interactive, and a bit magical in nature. Because of the interactive nature of the activities, the best arrangement for students is for them to be seated at tables if possible.
Elementary Teacher Program
A "Make-and-Take" workshop designed to complement the schools' elementary SCIENCE curriculum. The objective of the presentation will be to provide hands-on activities aimed at "firing life" into any SCIENCE curriculum for children. The program consists of demonstrations and teacher involved activities. The hands-on-activity based session provides a potpourri of SCIENCE experiments for teachers of grades Pre-K thru 6. All materials will be provided.
